Visited the Cox Arboretum MetroPark, 6733 Springboro Pk. in Dayton today. They had a lovely orchid show. The vendors had huge plants in full bloom for sale. The color was outstanding, especially against the February gray background. Rows and rows of beautiful orchids. I could never grow them but they are so wonderful to paint. Yes, of course I bought some! Hopefully they'll last long enough for a few larger paintings. The orchid show continues through tomorrow.6"X6" Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. $100.00 SOLD
