I ordered a new color from Blue Ridge Artist Materials. http://www.blueridgeartist.com/ They hand make all of their oils. This color is smalt, a beautiful blue sometimes difficult to obtain. Nice buttery consistency to the paint. Wonderful customer service. Thanks Eric!

Yes this is smalt. I've used it in watercolor, this is my first time using it in oil. I do understand that it darkens a little with age, but less so if you mix it with flake white.
I don't think my photography does it justice, it is really a pretty color.
