Artist Statement

I am represented by the Row House Gallery in Milford, Ohio. Member of the Arts Alliance Painters in Mason, Ohio.

Sunlight fuels my passion to create art. I am fascinated by the way it passes through a transparent flower petal, how it dances through glass, warms the top of an apple and appoints sentiment to ordinary objects. Capturing that transformation when an object is illuminated into something previously unseen is what truly inspires me. This light is what drives me to share my perception with others; and is a reminder to cherish the nuances of life.All images are copyright Linda McCoy 2006 through 2019
