Apple in an Old Metal Bowl

6"X6" Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. I picked up this old dented bowl in an antique store, I've had it so long I can't remember where. I always thought it would be fun to paint, all dented with great patina. This gray is permanent rose and Winsor green mixed with white. Since these colors are the colors for the bowl and apple, it created a nice harmony of color between the background and the subject. I lost a few of the edges, to give it a soft look. This painting is in a gallery, if you are interested in purchasing, please email me at tcoy1@msn.com SOLD
