6"X6" Oil on Gallery wrapped stretched canvas. These are the last of the Dahlias, they were so pretty all summer, but the weather has turned cold. A little green hand blown glass vase. I resisted the urge to overpaint, and just let the underpainting of permanent rose, cadmium red and cadmium yellow do it's job. I worked on a very tightly rendered still life most of the day, didn't finish, so I used what paint was left on my palette for this little one.
