Grape Hyacinth Oil painting by Linda McCoy

Smaller than standard Hyacinth and growing lower to the ground these are pretty flowers. Their long spikey leaves lie on the ground and mix with the ground cover. It looks like the leaves have collapsed in exhaustion, but the flower is strong and beautiful.
My lilacs are just beginning to open. I hope we get more sun tomorrow! 6"X6" Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas.
