Glass Heart, Still Life Oil Painting by Linda McCoy

I found this glass heart at ArtonSymmes in Fairfield, Ohio. Since my last several paintings have included glass objects, I thought I would give the red glass a try. It was the most difficult of all of the glass paintings I've tried so far. So many reds! I worked on it on and off for two days. Funny how the "painting a day" concept runs in to a brick wall when tackling a more difficult painting.
Fun to paint and I think I have an appropriate follow-up. 6"X6" Oil on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. $100.00 tcoy1@msn.com to purchase.
